TIDE — Guideline–Literature Drift

TIDE (Temporal Index of Divergent Evidence) is a proof-of-concept study of how orthopedic guideline recommendations and related PubMed literature align or drift topically over time. The medRxiv preprint compares three orthopedic cases and tests the meaning and limitations of the embedding signal. It measures topical alignment, not whether evidence supports or opposes a recommendation. Preprint posted September 29, 2026; not peer reviewed.
